Founder Story

I’m building TalkLoop for people who understand a lot of English, but freeze at the exact moment they need to answer.

I had this problem myself. I went through courses and teachers: uneven quality, a lot of randomness, constant changes — and poor results.

Eventually I started reading research on how we actually learn languages, and for five years I’ve been building tools that automate it. The key turned out to be a short loop: say something out loud, get corrected, and repeat the better version immediately.

That is why TalkLoop is two things today: a short daily workout and lessons with Leo, an AI tutor who runs a lesson like a good teacher. One goal: premium-quality speaking practice at a price everyone can afford.

How is a lesson with an AI tutor different from a quick loop?+

A loop is a few minutes of daily practice: you speak, get one correction and repeat it better. A lesson with Leo takes about 15 minutes and runs like a lesson with a tutor: warm-up, a new phrase, a real-life scene and feedback. Leo picks your next lessons for your level.

How much do lessons with an AI tutor cost?+

Your first two lessons are free: the first without an account, the second once you create a free one. After that you choose: Plus at 29 PLN/mo gives you 2 lessons a week and unlimited speaking practice, Premium at 99 PLN/mo gives you a lesson every day. Cancel any time.

Do I need an account to start practicing?+

No. You can start immediately without signing up. Create an account later only if you want history and dashboard tracking.

What CEFR levels are supported?+

TalkLoop supports all levels from A1 to C2. Prompt complexity and pacing are adapted to your selected level.

How does shadowing scoring work?+

Your spoken answer is compared with the corrected target sentence using word-level similarity, with tolerance for common STT split/merge variants like 'today' and 'to day'.

Is my speech data private?+

Practice is privacy-first by default. You can use core speaking loops without account friction, and only minimal analytics is stored for product stability and progress features.
